Current Ministries

Building/Grounds (Bro. H. Martin & Bro. S. Gipson)—Provide a clean and safe physical environment for those who assemble to worship.

Girls’ Book Club (Sis. S. Avent)—Designed to mentor and develop self awareness in pre-teen girls, in a spiritual environment, through reading, special projects, and cultural trips.

Greeters (Sis. C. Battle)—Welcome and provide assistance to all guest and members as they enter the doors to worship with us.

In-Touch (Bro. L. Wright)—Focuses on loving God and each other by touching each one through cards that reflects celebration and recognition of the need for correction. Provides a step-by-step plan to make the new members’ welcome a reality to ensure a smooth integration into the body of Christ

Life Through Photography (Sis. C. Perry)—Capture life and historical events of the church while documenting the vision to build a Better Community for the coming Christ.

Men (Bro. L. Wright)—Develop men of the congregation into mature Christians working together as one unit.

“Oneness by Design” (Bro. J. & Sis. K. Palmer)—A ministry that provides support for marriages in a nurturing environment.

Prayer (Sis. P. Baker)—Pray specifically for everyone who completes a prayer card on Sundays, for urgent situations, and online prayer requests, as well as compile and circulate the prayer request to the congregation via e-mail.

Proverbs 23 (Co-coordinators Sis. V. McDuffie & Sis. C. Battle)—Give abusers and addicts hope for recovery for themselves and their families.

Proverbs 22:6 (Coordinator Sis. C. Muldrow)—Learning program that provides   Bible classes (Preschoolers-High School) and activities to enhance spiritual growth.

Technology (Bro. V. Moffett)—Provide audio and visual support to the church and our visitors.

Transportation (Bro. H. Smith)—Assist anyone who needs a ride to and from the services.

Website (Sis. C. Battle & Bro. Mike Langston)—Provide audio access to sermons, upcoming events, prayer request, and more through web communication to our members, visitors, and friends across the globe.

Women (Sis. C. Dublin)—Deepen our relationship to God, and develop deeper friendship with one another.

Youth (Youth Committee)—Designed to teach the truth of salvation through Jesus to the youth and how to live in the current culture while not being “of the culture.”
